You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

Evening and weekend appointments
Stokesley Surgery is currently participating in the Better Access appointments being offered across the area. Patients registered at the GP practices across Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby can pre-book a routine primary care appointment between 6.30pm–8.00pm throughout the week and 9am–5pm on Saturdays. These appointments are manned by local GPs, nurse practitioners, physiotherapists, pharmacists, nurses and healthcare assistants. These appointments are at GP practices in the area and the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton. This is not a walk in service so please speak to one of our reception team for more information on how to book these.
